3. Everything is taught with building independent thinking skills in mind.
Instead of lecturing to students. Instead of asking "leading questions", or guiding students to the desired answer, Mr. Nick teaches students thinking strategies that students can use to reason out accurate answers by themselves based on available information.
Class discussions are designed to help the children discover possible answers by themselves, and then determine how accurate their answers are. If they are wrong, then they are taught to observe their own thinking to find the mistake and actively correct it.
